How to Farm Lotus in Palworld: Oil Rig and Recycler Routes
Quick answer
Only from Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig chests and the Ancient Relic Recycler. No merchant sells Lotuses and they do not grow in the wild.
Lotuses only come from two places: Rayne Syndicate Oil Rigs and the Ancient Relic Recycler. No shop sells them. Here is which rig drops which size, and the route that fills all five colors fastest.
Lotuses are the flowers behind every permanent player stat boost in Palworld. You cannot plant them, pick them in the wild, or buy them. They drop from two sources only: the three Rayne Syndicate Oil Rigs and the Ancient Relic Recycler. This page is the farming route. It covers which rig gives which size, how the Recycler compares, and how many flowers each stat actually costs.
- Ten Lotus items: five colors, each in a small (S) and large (L) size.
- Lotus (S) plus a Predator Core makes a Remedy. Lotus (L) plus Predator Cores makes an Elixir.
- Every color rolls on the same tables, so you cannot target one color. Bank all of them.
- They weigh 0.1 each and stack to 9999, so there is no reason to leave any behind.

Source 1: the three Oil Rigs
The Oil Rigs are the burst farm. Each clear opens chests that roll every Lotus color at once. The catch is that each rig drops a different size, so the rig you clear decides whether you are stocking Remedies or Elixirs.
- Rayne Syndicate Test Drilling Rig, around level 30: Lotus (L) only, about 8% per color, 1-2 at a time. The easiest rig, with little anti-air.
- Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig, around level 55: Lotus (S) only, about 4% per color. Laser anti-air locks flying mounts, so swim in.
- Rayne Syndicate Platform Oil Rig, around level 60 in Feybreak waters: both sizes. Lotus (S) at about 4% per color, and Lotus (L) at about 10% per color, 1-3 at a time. The best single clear in the game for Lotuses.

The Recycler is the slow, steady farm. It unlocks at level 74 for 3 technology points. Feed it Ancient Relics and every recycle has a small chance at each Lotus color in both sizes, on top of Mythical Wood, Paloxite, and Ancient Civilization Cores.
- Odds are well under 1% per color on every relic tier. Treat it as a background drain, not a burst.
- Relic tier matters. Glistening Ancient Relics roughly double the Lotus odds of Decayed ones.
- The full ladder climbs in order: Decayed, Dormant, Gorgeous, Glowing, then Glistening.
- Lotus (L) always rolls at about half the Lotus (S) rate on the same relic.

Ancient Relic Recycler guideThe farm route, in order
- Around level 30: clear the Test Drilling Rig on repeat. Bank every Lotus (L) even though you cannot craft Elixirs yet.
- Around level 55: add the Oil Rig. This is your first steady Lotus (S) source, so start crafting Remedies here.
- Around level 60: move to the Platform Oil Rig. It drops both sizes and replaces the other two for most players.
- Level 62: unlock the Advanced Workshop so you can turn banked Lotus (L) into Elixirs.
- Level 74: build the Ancient Relic Recycler and feed it relics between rig runs.
- Run Predator Pals on the same trips. Every Remedy and Elixir needs Predator Cores, and Lotuses alone craft nothing.

Oil Rig clear guideHow many Lotuses you need
- One Remedy: 4 Lotus (S) and 1 Predator Core, at a High Quality Workbench or Production Assembly Line.
- One Elixir: 6 Lotus (L) and 2 Predator Cores, at an Advanced Workshop, Ancient Workbench, or Production Assembly Line II.
- One Remedy of every color: 20 Lotus (S) and 5 Predator Cores.
- One Elixir of every color: 30 Lotus (L) and 10 Predator Cores.
- The Ancient Workbench unlocks at level 67 but only Pals can work it. Craft by hand at the Advanced Workshop if you want the Elixir right now.

Might Remedy
4 Power Lotus (S)
Extremely valuable potion that permanently raises Attack by a slight amount when consumed. Ineffective when used by Pals.

Might Elixir
6 Power Lotus (L)
Extremely valuable elixir that permanently raises Attack when consumed. Ineffective when used by Pals.

Burden Remedy
4 Carrying Lotus (S)
Extremely valuable potion that permanently raises carrying capacity by a slight amount when consumed. Ineffective when used by Pals.

Predator Core
1 per Remedy, 2 per Elixir
Core dropped by Predator Pals. It is filled with mysterious energy.
Which color to spend first
- Carrying Lotus if inventory weight is slowing every trip, including your rig runs.
- Power and Life Lotus next, for Oil Rig, Predator, and boss clears.
- Stamina Lotus for climbing, gliding, and long travel days.
- Speed Lotus last, once combat is comfortable and base crafting is the grind.
Common mistakes
- Selling Lotuses. They sell for 20,000 Gold (S) or 30,000 Gold (L), but you cannot buy them back anywhere.
- Farming the Test Drilling Rig for Remedies. It only drops Lotus (L).
- Farming the Oil Rig for Elixirs. It only drops Lotus (S).
- Feeding Decayed relics when you have Glistening ones. The higher tier roughly doubles your Lotus odds.
- Hunting wild Lotus plants. There are none. Rig chests and the Recycler are the only sources.
