How to Get Ancient Civilization Cores in Palworld 1.0

Ancient Civilization Cores are the expensive late-game crafting cores. Do not confuse them with Ancient Civilization Parts, which are a different item used earlier in progression.

Core from technology that was lost long ago. Nearly impossible to find on the Palpagos Islands, it contains a wealth of forgotten knowledge.

What Cores are used for

• Ability Glasses (5), Ai Core (1), Homing Module (5), Sniper Module II (2).
• Advanced Shield, Ultra Shield, and Ancient Shield ask for 30 each.
• Beam Launcher (20), Plasma Rifle (14), Beam Scatter and Drone Launcher families (tier costs vary).
• Wing Pack (10) and the Emperor baton element boosters (5 each): Celestial Emperor's Baton, Flame Emperor's Baton, Ice Emperor's Baton, Earth Emperor's Baton, Spirit Emperor's Baton, Divine Dragon's Baton, Lord Of Lightning's Baton, Lord Of The Sea's Baton, and Lord Of The Underworld's Baton.

Pal drops and butcher farms

Kill, capture, and butcher share the same Pal drops. Two Pals drop a Core every time:

Breeding these two and butchering the extras is a real Core loop. Splatterina's meat-cleaver partner skill can amplify butcher item amounts if you want to squeeze more per body.

Expeditions, oil, fishing, field loot

• Expeditions always include Cores, with amounts scaling by region: Astral Mountains 1, Sakurajima 1-2, Feybreak 2-3, Sunreach 3-4, World Tree 3-5. World Tree Hard is about half the time for 6-9.
• Oil Rig Test Drilling Rig about 55% for 1-5. Platform Oil Rig about 44% for 1-5.
• Foot of the World Tree: junk 20% (1-3), treasure about 12% (1-3), fishing about 5%, fish pond about 31%.

Ancient Relic Recycler (best scalable path)

Unlock the Ancient Relic Recycler (tech around level 74) and feed World Tree relics. Core chance climbs with relic tier:

• Decayed Ancient Relic: 20% for 1 Core.
• Dormant Ancient Relic: 24% for 5-10.
• Gorgeous Ancient Relic: 28.8% for 5-10.
• Glowing Ancient Relic: 34.56% for 5-10.
• Glistening Ancient Relic: 41.47% for 5-10.
