Work Suitability Level 10: The New Condensation Math in Palworld

Raising the Work Suitability cap from Level 4 to Level 10 fundamentally changes factory scaling. The extra levels are where the biggest efficiency gains now live, and players who stopped optimizing at the old Level 4 ceiling are quietly leaving a lot of output on the table.

Scaling between levels 5 and 10

Efficiency output climbs steeply across the new upper band, so a Level 10 worker massively outproduces a Level 5 one on the same station. If you optimized for the old Level 4 cap, your existing lines are leaving large gains untapped, especially on high-throughput jobs like Mining and Transport where suitability level scales carry capacity and output directly.

The cheaper condenser

The condenser was also rebalanced: the total Pal sacrifice count to reach maximum star rank dropped noticeably from the Early Access requirement, making a fully maxed key worker far more attainable than it used to be. That pairs perfectly with the higher suitability ceiling, since a maxed star rank and a Level 10 suitability worker together represent the real endgame version of a specialist Pal.

Which jobs benefit most from Level 10

• Transport, where suitability level directly sets carry capacity per trip.
• Mining and Logging, where higher levels reduce the time spent per node.
• Handiwork and Production, where a bench-bound Pal spends the entire day on one job and every efficiency point compounds.

Do older Pals need to be re-leveled?

Existing Pals do not lose progress from the cap increase, a Pal already at old max suitability simply has new room to grow rather than needing to be rebuilt from scratch. Treat the higher ceiling as bonus headroom to work toward on your existing roster, not a reason to replace workers you already invested in.

Prioritizing your condenser investment

• Start with a Pal that already sits high on the suitability leaderboard for its job, condensing a mediocre worker to Level 10 still leaves you with a mediocre worker.
• Save condenser duplicates for roles you run at scale (a mining crew, a big transport chain), not a one-off niche station.
• Recheck your base roster after any patch that touches suitability numbers, the old Level 4 assumptions may no longer reflect the current scaling.

Read suitability from work rankings, not rumor

Sort Mining, Transport, Handiwork, and other roles by natural level first, then decide where condenser stars and Work Suitability books are worth the duplicates. A Level 10 book on a weak natural worker still underperforms a high natural specialist that you only need to push a few steps.
