How to Get Predator Cores in Palworld 1.0

Predator Cores are the crafting heart of permanent player stats. Item text is blunt: cores dropped by Predator Pals, filled with mysterious energy. No vendor sells them. No expedition, Oil Rig, or Relic Recycler table prints them. If you want Might Elixir, Vital Elixir, Stamina Elixir, Burden Elixir, or Speed Elixir (and the matching Remedies), you hunt Predators.

What Predator Cores craft

Live recipes only spend Predator Cores on Remedies and Elixirs. Remedies cost 1 Core for a small permanent bump. Elixirs cost 2 Cores for the larger bump. Tracks are Might (Attack), Vital (Health), Stamina, Burden (carry weight), and Speed (Work Speed). Player-only. They do nothing for Pals.

Where to get Predator Cores

• Only Predator (Rampaging) Pals drop Predator Cores. Kill them in the open world. Pal Spheres bounce. These fights are kill-only.
• Every Predator on the drop table yields Cores at 100%. Amounts run from 1 up to a flat 4, depending on which Predator you clear.
• PalSphere plots fixed Predator anchors on the map (predator layer). The species at each pin is consistent. Presence is not. An empty pin is normal. Leave the area (fast travel out and back works) to force another spawn roll.
• Some Predators are night-only. Plan night routes for Bushi Noct, Incineram Noct, Sootseer, and similar night tags.
• 1.0 keeps the Feybreak-era Predator system and expands the roster. Our live table covers 43 Predator variants. Treat that as the farmable set, not the older 33-name lists.
• Predators also drop Giant Pal Souls on the same kills. That is a Statue of Power bonus on every Core route.
• Expeditions, chests, Oil Rigs, and Ancient Relic Recycler do not list Predator Cores. Do not farm those for this item.

The soul left behind by a highly trained Pal. It can draw out hidden abilities if offered to a Statue of Power.

Best farms (flat 4 Cores)

These Predators always drop exactly 4 Cores. Prioritize them when you are mass-crafting Elixirs:

Predator Sootseer and Predator Tropicaw also sit on the flat-4 list. Sweep them whenever their markers are on your route.

Strong mid farms (2-4 Cores)

• 3-4 Cores: Predator Elphidran, Predator Shroomer, Predator Splatterina.
• 2-4 Cores: Predator Blazehowl Noct, Faleris Aqua, Kitsun, Loupmoon Cryst, Mammorest Cryst, Wumpo.
• 2-3 Cores: a large mid tier including Cryolinx Terra, Digtoise, Jormuntide Ignis, Suzaku, and more.
• 1-2 or flat 1: early Predators like Direhowl, Lovander, Mossanda, Vanwyrm. Fine while leveling, slow for Elixir mass crafts.

Planning an Elixir crafting session

Might Elixir, Vital Elixir, Stamina Elixir, Burden Elixir, and Speed Elixir all compete for the same Predator Core pool, so decide which stat you actually want maxed first instead of spreading Cores evenly across all five. Most players get the most value rushing Might or Vital first since raw Attack and Health show up in every fight, then rounding out Burden and Speed once the combat stats feel solid.

Routing a Predator farm night

• Open the Predator map filter and plan a loop that hits the flat-4 farms first (Bushi Noct, Elgrove Cryst, Helzephyr Lux, Incineram Noct, Leafan, Sootseer, Tropicaw).
• Fold in the 2-4 Core mid tier on the same route rather than making a separate trip for them.
• Since several flat-4 Predators are night-only, plan the whole loop after dark rather than starting during the day and hoping they show up.
• Reroll empty pins by leaving the area and coming back. Presence is not guaranteed even though the species at each anchor is fixed.

Common mistakes chasing Predator Cores

• Throwing spheres at a Predator out of habit. Spheres bounce off every Predator Pal, so these fights are kill-only no matter how good your Capture Power is.
• Farming normal Alphas expecting Predator Cores. Only the Predator (Rampaging) variant drops them, not the regular Alpha version of the same species.
• Skipping Predator loops because Ancient Civilization Cores feel more useful. Both are separate late-game currencies, and Remedies and Elixirs only ever want Predator Cores.
