Palworld Statue of Power Guide: Effigies, Pal Souls, and Best Farms
Quick answer
The Statue of Power is where Effigies become permanent player power and Pal Souls become permanent Pal power. Most players only use half of it. Full steps and links are in this guide.
The Statue of Power is where Effigies become permanent player power and Pal Souls become permanent Pal power. Most players only use half of it.
Statue Of Power is one building with two jobs. Offer Pal Effigies to permanently buff the player. Offer Pal Souls to permanently buff a single Pal's HP, Attack, Defence, and Work Speed. This guide owns Souls. The Effigies Sphere Signal owns all twelve map Effigy types and their pins.

Effigies overviewStatue Of Power UI (what you offer where)
- Build a Statue Of Power at base, or use one inside an Abandoned Church.
- Effigy tab: spend Pal Effigies for permanent player tracks (Capture Power, swim, climb, EXP, and more).
- Pal Soul tab: pick a Pal, then raise HP, Attack, Defence, or Work Speed with Small, Medium, Large, and Giant Pal Souls.
- Effigies never spend Souls. Souls never raise Effigy ranks. Keep the two wallets separate.
Effigies recap (short)
You visit the statue for Effigies when you want player-side power: Capture Power, movement, stamina, sphere homing, EXP, and related tracks. Do not reprint the full table here. Tap a type on the Effigies guide to open the map with only that filter.

Effigies Sphere SignalWhat Pal Souls do
Item text is the same idea across sizes: a spirit left behind by a Pal that draws out hidden abilities when offered to a Statue Of Power. Each Soul size feeds one of four Pal tracks:
- HP
- Attack
- Defence
- Work Speed
Each track goes to rank 20. Every rank is +3% on that track, so a maxed track is +60%. Condenser stars and Awakening stack on top for combat; Work Speed only gets the Soul multiplier from this statue path.
- Ranks 1-4 spend Small Pal Souls (1, then 2, then 3, then 4).
- Ranks 5-7 spend Medium Pal Souls (1, then 2, then 3).
- Ranks 8-10 spend Large Pal Souls (1, then 2, then 3).
- Ranks 11-20 spend Giant Pal Souls (1, then 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, then four ranks of 4).
- One maxed track costs 10 Small, 6 Medium, 6 Large, and 30 Giant Pal Souls. Four maxed tracks multiply that by four.
How to get Pal Souls
Small Pal Soul
- From live species drop tables: Nox is the practical volume source at 40%, Maraith at 15%, Felbat at 3%, and Daedream, Tombat, and Cawgnito at 1%.
- Those rates apply to both the Alpha and regular versions of each species.
- Also from early camps, expeditions, fishing, field loot, and early treasure chests via lottery tables.
Medium Pal Soul
- From live species drop tables, Helzephyr is the only Pal that drops Medium Pal Souls, at a 3% rate (Alpha and regular).
- Camps and expeditions in Desiccated Dunes, Mount Obsidian, and Astral Mountains can still print Mediums from lottery tables while you travel.
- Sealed Realm of Terraria treasure can roll Mediums if you are already clearing that dungeon.
Large Pal Soul
- From live species drop tables, exactly three Pals drop Large Pal Souls, all at 100%: Anubis, Frostallion Noct, and Necromus (Alpha and regular).
- That is the complete species list. Guides that add Astegon, Dualith, Paladius, Shadowbeak, and similar legendaries to a "guaranteed Large" list are wrong for 1.0 drop data.
- Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig chests and late expeditions can still return Larges through lottery tables.
Full walkthrough of the three guaranteed Large Pal Soul species and how to farm Anubis for volume.
Large Pal Soul farmOil Rig clears also bank Lotuses and Crude Oil on the same runs.
Oil Rig clear guideGiant Pal Soul
- Giant Pal Souls are the late ranks (11-20) fuel. Species drop rows for Giants are not in the current Pal drop extract, so treat predator and World Tree claims as unverified until that table is rebuilt.
- Rayne Syndicate Platform Oil Rig lottery chests and hard late expeditions remain practical sources while you farm other goals.
- Pair Giant hunting with Predator Core routes when you already need cores, rather than as a standalone grind on incomplete data.
Predator Core routes are the usual late-game companion loop while you hunt Giant Souls.
Predator Cores guideExpeditions print Souls while you play elsewhere.
Expeditions guideBest farming methods
- Early ranks: farm Nox (40%) and Maraith (15%) for Small Pal Souls until Attack and HP hit rank 4 on your main fighter.
- Mid ranks: Helzephyr is the species-table Medium source at 3%; lean on camps and expeditions for extra Medium lottery rolls while you push story.
- Large ranks: farm Anubis for volume Large Pal Souls (100%). Treat Frostallion Noct and Necromus as opportunistic legendaries.
- Giant ranks: use Platform Oil Rig lottery clears and late expeditions until the Giant species drop table is re-extracted.
- Do not craft Souls. No shop sells them. Treat chests and expeditions as bonus, not the only plan.

Small Pal Soul itemRecommended spend order (new 1.0 character)
- Player first: grab Lifmunk and movement Effigies so Capture Power and travel feel good. See the Effigies guide for the full track list.
- First combat Pal: raise Attack, then HP, then Defence on the Pal you actually fight with. Leave Work Speed for base mains.
- Stop a combat Pal around ranks 8-10 (Large Souls) until Giant farms are online. Dump early Giants into that same fighter, not a bench warmer.
- Base workers: Work Speed Souls on your forever Kindling / Handiwork / Transport slots once combat ranks are comfortable.
- Trust and Kinship Fruits are a separate permanent Pal bond track. Souls do not replace Trust.
Trust Levels and Kinship Peach / Little Kinship Peach farms.
Trust and Kinship FruitsBrowse the Dex, then open a Pal page to plan Soul investment.
