Palworld Effigies: Every Type, What It Boosts, and How Many Exist

Quick answer

There are 432 effigy pins on the Palworld 1.0 map across twelve types. Lifmunk Effigies account for 157 of them, nine mid-tier types sit between 30 and 33 pins each, and the three rarest types (Lunaris, Relaxaurus, and Yakumo) have only eight pins each.

There are 432 effigies on the map across twelve types, and only one of them raises capture power. If you are hunting the wrong statue you are farming a stamina buff by accident.

Palworld 1.0 has twelve effigy types and 432 effigy pins across the world map. Each type is named after a Pal and raises exactly one player stat when you turn it in at a Statue of Power. Lifmunk Effigies raise capture power and are by far the most common at 157 pins, while the three rarest types sit at eight pins each.

That is the whole answer for most searches. The rest of this page is the per-type breakdown, because the second question is always which effigy is worth a detour and which one you can skip on a first playthrough.

All twelve effigy types by count

  • Lifmunk Effigy: capture power. 157 pins, the most common type by a wide margin.
  • Cattiva Effigy: stamina consumption reduction. 33 pins.
  • Munchill Effigy: food decay reduction. 33 pins.
  • Pengullet Effigy: swim speed. 32 pins.
  • Rooby Effigy: jump power. 32 pins.
  • Lamball Effigy: hunger reduction. 31 pins.
  • Tanzee Effigy: climb speed. 30 pins.
  • Depresso Effigy: status ailment resistance. 30 pins.
  • Herbil Effigy: glider speed. 30 pins.
  • Lunaris Effigy: sphere homing. 8 pins.
  • Relaxaurus Effigy: experience bonus. 8 pins.
  • Yakumo Effigy: rainbow passive rate. 8 pins.

Every effigy type is a separate filter layer on the interactive map. Turn on the one you actually need.

Which ones are worth the detour

The three eight-pin types are the interesting ones. Lunaris (sphere homing), Relaxaurus (experience bonus), and Yakumo (rainbow passive rate) are scarce enough that missing a handful of them is a real, permanent loss. Everything else exists in the thirties and you will trip over them naturally.

  • Grab all eight Yakumo Effigies if you care about rolling good passives on hatched eggs. Rainbow passive rate is the single hardest stat to buy any other way.
  • Grab all eight Relaxaurus Effigies early rather than late. An experience bonus applied at level 20 compounds; applied at level 60 it does almost nothing.
  • Lunaris Effigies pair with sphere modules. Homing is already the strongest capture lever in the game and this stacks on top of it.
  • Lifmunk Effigies are worth collecting opportunistically, not systematically. With 157 pins you will hit diminishing returns long before you run out.

Effigies guide

Why the 1.0 capture bonus reset changed how much Lifmunk grinding is worth doing.

Capture bonus reset

Where you turn them in

Effigies are not consumed on pickup. You carry them back and offer them at a Statue of Power, which unlocks at level 9 for two technology points and can be built at any base. The statue is also where Pal Souls and player Lotuses get spent, so it stays relevant from the first hour to the last.

Same statue, different track

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every effigy raises capture power. Only Lifmunk does. The other eleven types touch stamina, food, movement, resistance, and passive rolls.
  • Leaving the eight-pin types for later. Those are the ones a completionist route actually needs to plan around.
  • Turning in effigies at a Statue of Power on a base you are about to abandon. The bonus is account-side, so this is harmless, but players often think it is not and hoard instead.
  • Filtering the whole effigy layer on at once. Twelve overlapping pin types on one map is unreadable. Filter one type per trip.
