Palworld Hexolite Quartz and Chromite Circuit
Quick answer
Hexolite is an alloy of one Chromite and one Hexolite Quartz, refined at the Gigantic Furnace from level 58 or the Ancient Furnace from level 66. The ratio is one to one, so your output is capped by whichever input you have less of.
Hexolite is a one-to-one alloy: one Chromite plus one Hexolite Quartz. The trick is that the two inputs come from completely different places, so a balanced circuit beats farming either one hard.
Hexolite is an alloy of Chromite and Hexolite Quartz at a one-to-one ratio, refined at the Gigantic Furnace from level 58 or the Ancient Furnace from level 66. One of each input gives one Hexolite. That means your throughput is capped by whichever input you have less of, and most players have far more of one than the other.
Hexolite Quartz is a rare crystal found only in Feybreak, described as Paladium that condensed over many years into a rainbow-like glow. Chromite is buried metal detectable with a Metal Detector, also only on Feybreak. One island, two different gathering methods, one recipe.

Chromite

A type of metal buried underground. It can be detected with a Metal Detector on certain islands.

Hexolite Quartz

A rare crystal found only in Feybreak. Over many years, Paladium has condensed and transformed, now shining with a rainbow-like glow.

Gigantic or Ancient Furnace
An alloy of Chromite and Hexolite Quartz. Used for building advanced equipment and structures. Can be refined at Gigantic Furnace.
Where the two inputs actually are
- Hexolite Quartz: 349 rainbow crystal pins on the map, concentrated in Feybreak. This is the input people underestimate.
- Chromite: 238 pins, all on Feybreak and packed toward the middle of the island. Detect them with a Metal Detector.
- Neither input is a shop item in reliable volume, so both are gathering problems rather than gold problems.
- Because the ratio is one to one, a lap that hits both pin types beats two separate dedicated trips.
Open both pin layers together and plan a single balanced lap.

The Hexolite Quartz Mine is a base structure that produces the crystal for you. It unlocks at level 62 for five ancient technology points, and the description is blunt about staffing: digging the crystals is grueling physical work, so leave it to a Pal that is good at mining. A condensed high-suitability Mining Pal is not optional here.
- Five ancient technology points is a real cost, competing with the Ancient Hatchery at eight and the Wing Pack at nine.
- Staff it with your best Mining Pal. Mining is a work action, so Artisan and Speedy Worker genuinely help.
- Pair it with a Transport Pal at suitability level 3 or better, because crystals are heavy.
- There is no equivalent structure for Chromite, so the chromium pins stay a manual lap.
Hexolite Quartz Mine
Level 62, 5 ancient points
Facility for producing Rainbow Crystals. Digging Rainbow Crystals is grueling physical work. Leave it to a Pal that is good at mining.
Gigantic Furnace
Level 58, 5 points
Allows refinement of Stainless Steel. By growing in size, multiple Pals can collaborate to perform smelting. Requires a Fire Pal to light a flame.

Best Mining PalsWhat Hexolite builds
Hexolite is the armour tier. Hexolite Armor is described as possessing overwhelming durability and defense, and the Hexolite Helmet combines strength with lightness. There are also heat, cold, and lightweight variants, plus the Exotic Sphere which takes 15 Paldium Fragment, 1 Plasteel, 10 Hardwood, and 1 Hexolite.
- Hexolite Armor and Helmet are the top non-ancient armour pieces.
- Cold Resistant, Heat Resistant, and Lightweight Hexolite Armor cover biome and carry weight problems.
- Exotic Sphere sits above Ultimate in the capture tier list and needs one Hexolite per sphere.
- Each variant needs its own schematic learned first, so check what you actually have unlocked before smelting in bulk.

Exotic Sphere
Spheres
An item that captures Pals when thrown. Boasting incredible performance, it can capture Pals that fall outside regular standards.
