Palworld How to Level Up Fast (1.0 XP Routes and Party Tips)
Quick answer
A dense dungeon or Predator fight circuit with Omascul in party for the Party EXP bonus, backed by Training Manuals on keepers and Relaxaurus Effigy offerings at the Statue of Power.
Leveling stalls when you grind the wrong loop. Pair XP partners, dense fight circuits, and the right accessories without wasting spheres.
Fast leveling in 1.0 is a dense fight circuit plus multipliers you already own. Hexolite / Quartz crafting is a different grind and already has its own guide. This page is XP for you and your Pals.
XP multipliers to turn on first
- Omascul Masquerade Dance: while in party, Party Pals' EXP gained +40-80%. Does not stack. Bring one Omascul on every grind party.
- Relaxaurus Effigy at the Statue Of Power: up to 50% bonus EXP on the player Effigy track. Offer those before long sessions.
- Training Manual (S) / (M) / (L) / (Xl): read on a Pal for a burst of EXP. Oil Rigs and late chests print lots of (L) and (Xl).

Training Manual (S)
Enhancement
Training manual that grants a tiny amount of EXP when read by a Pal.

Training Manual (M)
Enhancement
Training manual that grants a small amount of EXP when read by a Pal.

Training Manual (L)
Enhancement
Training manual that grants a large amount of EXP when read by a Pal.

Training Manual (Xl)
Enhancement
Training manual that grants a substantial amount of EXP when read by a Pal.

Effigies guideEarly / mid / late XP loops
- Early: clear nearby dungeons on repeat, then sweep dense low-level packs on the way out. Capture only what you need; kills still pay XP.
- Mid: Syndicate Tower runs and mid-tier dungeon circuits. Keep Omascul in party and spend Training Manual (M) / (L) on keepers.
- Late: Predator routes (Cores + Giant Pal Souls + XP), Oil Rig deck clears (manuals + combat XP), and Foot of the World Tree edges when you can survive the packs.

Predator Cores guideVanguard Charm (survivability, not an XP gem)
Vanguard Charm item text: greatly raises Heat and Cold Resistance and significantly increases Health. It is a grind accessory so you stop dying on hot / cold routes, not a printed EXP multiplier. Unlock the schematic from a Hack Terminal, craft it, then stay alive on dungeon and Predator loops.

Accessory schematics guideSphere economy while grinding
- Kill for XP when you do not need the species. Capture only breeders, workers, and Condenser copies.
- Match sphere tier to the Pal's level so you are not dumping Legendary Spheres into early trash packs.
- Sphere tier and Capture Power details belong on the Sphere tiers Signal when that backfill ships.

Sphere tiers guideWhat not to farm for XP
- Empty resource node loops with no fights. Ore and Hexolite crafts are progression, not leveling.
- Solo Alpha hunts that take minutes per kill when a dungeon pack dies in seconds.
- Reading every Training Manual on temporary Pals you will butcher. Save (L) and (Xl) for keepers.
- Running without Omascul once you own one. That is free Party EXP left on the bench.
Hexolite is a craft grind, not an XP route.
Hexolite guideBalancing your own level against your party's
Player level and Pal level climb from different sources, so do not assume grinding one automatically grinds the other. Dungeon clears and Predator routes feed both at once, which is why they sit at the top of the late-game loop list. If your Pals feel underleveled compared to you (or the reverse), shift toward whichever farm loop actually rewards the side that is lagging.
Party composition for a grind session
- Bring Omascul every time. Leaving it on the bench for a grind session is free Party EXP left unused for no reason.
- Rotate in whichever Pal needs levels most, rather than always running your strongest fighters. A dungeon clear carries a weaker Pal just fine if the rest of the party is solid.
- Keep at least one survivability piece (Vanguard Charm, a healer, or a tanky front-liner) so a long grind session does not end early from an avoidable death.
When leveling feels like it has stalled
- Check whether you are still farming a loop that outleveled you weeks ago. XP per kill often drops off hard once wild Pals are far below your level.
- Move up to the next progression tier of content (a harder dungeon, a Predator route, an Oil Rig) instead of grinding the same trash pack longer.
- Confirm Omascul and your Effigy track are actually active. A missing multiplier you forgot about is a common silent cause of a slow grind.
Common questions
Short answers for searches that should land here, with links to the item, map pin, or related guide when you need more detail.
- What is the fastest way to level up in Palworld 1.0?
- A dense dungeon or Predator fight circuit with Omascul in party for the Party EXP bonus, backed by Training Manuals on keepers and Relaxaurus Effigy offerings at the Statue of Power. Predator Cores guide
- Does Omascul's EXP bonus stack with a second copy?
- No. Masquerade Dance does not stack, so one Omascul in party is enough. Condense that one copy toward the high end of its range instead of catching a second for the same effect.
- Should I capture or kill Pals while leveling?
- Kill for XP when you do not actually need that species. Save spheres and Capture Power for breeders, workers, and Condenser copies you plan to use, since kills pay the same XP as a capture attempt.
