Palworld Tips and Tricks 1.0 (QoL Habits Worth Keeping)
Quick answer
Work priority. Most players never open the chart and just assume idle Pals are lazy or bugged, when the real issue is almost always a higher-priority job quietly winning the assignment.
Not every tip needs its own guide. This is the short list of habits that save hours once 1.0 systems stack up.
These are high-leverage habits, not full guides. Each tip is one sentence of why, then a link when the deep dive already exists.
Capture
- Upgrade sphere tier for Alphas and Predators; spam cheap spheres only on ranch copies.
- Lifmunk Effigy Capture Power at a Statue of Power multiplies every throw you already craft.
- Radar Sphere and specialty spheres are tools, not flex. Use them when the target is expensive to re-find.

- Build near Ore + Coal first, Crude Oil second. Pretty views last.
- Toggle Attack invaders when raids are due; Focus on work the rest of the day.
- Allow Transport by Pals on chests, or your factory looks busy and moves nothing.
- 1.0 raid turrets do not burn ammo while idle. Funnel walls beat decorative castles.

Best base locationsBreeding (1.0)
- Vegetable Cake for volume, Extravagant Vegetable Cake for mutation pushes.
- Park Dynamoff at incubators for Electro-Massage Incubation. One copy; it does not stack.
- Braloha for Breeding Farm speed, Philanthropist on parents, Insomnia so nights still produce.
- Mutated Eggs and Ominous Eggs are different products. Do not farm the wrong egg type.

- Drink World Tree Holy Water before you touch Paloxite or Mythical Wood.
- Pin Effigies on the map filter that matches the buff you want next.
- Oil Rig clears are burst Crude Oil and Lotus loot, not a replacement for field extractors.
- Sealed Realm of Terraria is a schematic farm; Moon Lord is the raid that spends those bars.

Holy Water farmCrafting and progression
- Ancient Civilization Parts and Cores are different items. Mix them up and late recipes stall.
- Predator Cores only come from Predator Pals. Normal Alphas will not finish Remedy crafts.
- Condenser stars and Past Party boosts are long-term power. Slot them into weekly goals, not day-one panic.

Interactive mapHabits that pay off over a full playthrough
- Check the Statue of Power and Pal Essence Condenser regularly instead of once and forgetting. Both keep scaling long after you first unlock them, and neglecting them is the single biggest quiet power loss in a 1.0 save.
- Rotate through your Effigy offerings whenever you bank a surplus of the matching item, instead of hoarding for a rainy day that never comes.
- Keep at least one dedicated fighting party and one dedicated base-work party. Mixing the two roles on the same Pals makes both jobs worse.
- Save before a raid, a tower boss, or a legendary capture attempt. 1.0 systems compound fast, and a bad throw or a lost fight costs more time to recover than a quick reload.
Small things new players miss
- The Allow Transport by Pals checkbox on every station starts off. Turn it on early or your factory will look busy while chests overflow.
- Predator Pals never drop Predator Cores from a capture, only a kill. Do not waste spheres on them.
- Ominous Eggs and Mutated Eggs are not the same pickup or the same hatch pool. Confusing them wastes farming time on the wrong region or the wrong cake.
- Work priority quietly decides which jobs your Pals actually do. If something feels broken (transport, research, crafting), check the priority chart before assuming a bug.
