How to Farm Paloxite and Mythical Wood in Palworld

Paloxite is World Tree ore. Mythical Wood is the matching logging node. Both are Foot of the World Tree materials. Without protection, the nodes decay when you get close. You get that protection two ways: World Tree Holy Water, or a Pal carrying a World Tree passive.

Paloxite

Sacred water brimming with the energy of the World Tree. It purifies all things and awakens latent powers. When consumed, World Tree resources will not vanish when approached for a period of time.

Paloxite Ingot

Materials

An indomitable alloy created by fusing Soralite and Paloxite. A highly rare material, crystallizing the technology of ancient civilization and the power of the World Tree. It is vital for crafting the highest-grade equipment and structures.

World Tree passives (permanent gather protection)

Every World Tree passive stops World Tree resources from vanishing when you approach. Hatch them from Ominous Eggs, then keep that Pal in the setup you use for ore and wood runs. Holy Water becomes a backup instead of the only option.

• Twin-Edged Holy Blade: Attack +50%, Defense -30%.
• Sanctified Meat Shield: Defense +50%, Attack -30%.
• Demon’s Hand: Work Speed +90%, SAN drains faster.
• World Tree Seedbed: Hunger -50%, HP -20%.
• Hermit Sage: SAN drain -50%, Work Speed -20%.
• Dimensional Leap: Move Speed +50%, Hunger rises faster.
• God of Destruction: Attack +40%, Defense +20%, Max HP -50%.

Safe gather loop

• If you do not have a World Tree passive yet, drink World Tree Holy Water before you touch ore or wood nodes.
• Run the Foot of the World Tree Fast Travel circuit and strip nodes while protection is active.
• Top up Holy Water from the three Healing Springs (Touch Spring, 60-second cooldown each) and Foot chests.
• Clear high-level Pal packs on the same pass for bonus Holy Water and relics.
• Bring a high Mining suitability Pal for Paloxite and a high Logging Pal for Mythical Wood. Both are work actions, so work speed passives such as Artisan do help here.
• Better tools mean more yield per node, and World Tree nodes are exactly where over-harvesting maths pays off.

Other ways to bank mats

• Ancient Relic Recycler (around tech level 74) always returns Mythical Wood and Paloxite when you feed World Tree relics. Amount climbs with relic tier.
• Foot of the World Tree expeditions can dump large Paloxite stacks.
• Craft Paloxite Ingot with Soralite, Paloxite, and World Tree Holy Water when you need metal for Wing Pack and late recipes.

Why the nodes keep vanishing on you

The first time you walk up to a Paloxite node or a Mythical Wood tree without protection, it just disappears before your pickaxe or axe connects. That is not a bug. Every World Tree gather node checks for active Holy Water or a World Tree passive the moment you get close, and if neither is running, the node decays on the spot. Players who skip the Healing Springs loop early on burn a lot of frustrated trips before they realize the fix is that simple.

Planning a full farming session

• Stock at least 20-30 Holy Water before you start a serious circuit if you do not have a World Tree passive yet. Running dry mid-loop means turning back for more water instead of finishing the route.
• Route the three Healing Springs into your Fast Travel loop so refills happen without a detour.
• Bring a Transport Pal or clear inventory space. A long Paloxite and Mythical Wood run fills up fast, and full pockets mean wasted node hits.
• If you already hatched a World Tree passive Pal, keep it in your active party for every World Tree trip, not just the first one. It is easy to forget and walk in unprotected out of habit.

What to do with the mats once you have them

• Paloxite feeds Paloxite Ingot, which gates Wing Pack, Ancient Sphere, and several late armor crafts.
• Mythical Wood feeds Mythical Wooden Board, Wing Cell, and explosion-resist accessories.
• Bank a surplus of both before you start a big craft push. Running out mid-recipe means another World Tree trip you could have avoided.

Paloxite Ingot takes 1 Soralite, 2 Paloxite, and 1 World Tree Holy Water, and it only refines at the Ancient Furnace, which unlocks at level 66 for five technology points. Mythical Wood processes into Mythical Wooden Board, and both feed the Ancient Workbench recipes at level 67. Ancient Sphere II, the top capture tier, costs 30 Paldium Fragment, 6 Paloxite Ingot, and 3 Mythical Wood. Build the Ancient Furnace before you start hoarding: raw Paloxite does nothing without it.

Ancient Furnace

Level 66, 5 points

A special furnace based on ancient technology that can smelt all types of ingots. Materials are melted with fire, then quickly cooled and solidified using ice. It requires Pals with high-level Kindling and Cooling suitability.

Ancient Workbench

Level 67, 5 points

A Pal-exclusive workbench that is capable of crafting any item in one place. It cannot be used by the player, and operates at the same speed as a regular workbench. Due to its advanced equipment, it requires Pals with high-level Handiwork and Medicine Production suitability.

Mythical Wooden Board

Materials

Planks made by processing mystical wood, emitting a faint light. They contain power beyond human understanding and make an ideal core material.
