Palworld Yakumo and Splatterina Party Setup for Bounty Token Farms

Quick answer

Blade of Uncontrolled Passion increases items obtained from the Meat Cleaver by 100 to 200 percent while Splatterina is in your party. It does not stack, so one Splatterina is all you need, and she does not have to be your active fighter.

Two partner skills quietly decide how much a bounty lap actually pays. One multiplies butcher yields, the other reshapes what you run into on the way.

A bounty lap has two payouts. The token you turn in, and everything you strip off the targets and Pals you clear on the way. The token half is fixed. The second half swings hard on which partner skills are sitting in your party slots while you work, and most players run a bounty route with six damage dealers and wonder why the yield feels thin.

Splatterina: the Meat Cleaver multiplier

Splatterina's partner skill, Blade of Uncontrolled Passion, increases the amount of items obtained from using the Meat Cleaver by 100 to 200 percent while she is in your party. The range scales with her investment, and the skill is flagged as non-stacking, so a second Splatterina adds nothing.

  • She does not need to be your active fighter. In party is enough, so she can ride the bench slot all lap.
  • The multiplier applies to butcher output specifically, not to normal combat drops. Pair it with the Cleaver routine, not with kill farming.
  • Because the range is 100 to 200 percent, an invested Splatterina is worth roughly double a fresh one on every single butcher.
  • One Splatterina, one slot. Spend the freed slots on drops or survivability instead.

Yakumo: mount plus passive fishing

Yakumo's partner skill, Birds of a Feather, is rideable and gives a 15 to 30 percent increased chance of encountering Pals carrying the same Passive Skill as Yakumo itself, with some passives excluded. That makes Yakumo a two-for-one on a farm lap: your ground mount between pins, and a slow background roll toward the passive portfolio you actually want on captures.

  • The skill keys off Yakumo's own passives, so the setup work is on the donor, not on the targets.
  • Get the passive loadout right before you invest, because reshuffling later means redoing the work.
  • As a ground mount it also sidesteps the anti-air turret problem on Feybreak camps.
  • Treat the encounter boost as a slow drip across a long session, not a per-capture guarantee.

Katress: drops and sphere insurance

Katress brings Mystical Black Magic, which makes Neutral Pals drop 40 to 80 percent more items when defeated and gives a 10 to 50 percent chance to prevent Pal Sphere consumption on a throw. On a long lap where you are both killing and capturing, that second half quietly refunds a meaningful chunk of your sphere budget.

The Neutral restriction matters. Katress is at her best on routes thick with Neutral Pals and adds nothing to an all-Fire or all-Dragon clear, so read the zone before you commit the slot.

The stacking rule that decides your last three slots

Most of these party-wide partner skills carry a does not stack tag. Doubling up on Splatterina or Katress is wasted roster space. Once you have accepted that, the correct build is one copy of each multiplier you care about, then fill the rest with things that are not multipliers at all.

  • Slot 1: Splatterina for butcher yield.
  • Slot 2: Katress for Neutral drops and sphere savings, swapped out on non-Neutral routes.
  • Slot 3: Yakumo as mount and passive encounter roll.
  • Slot 4: your actual damage carry, the Pal you swap in for the bounty fight itself.
  • Slot 5: Teafant or another sustain option so a bad pull does not end the lap.
  • Slot 6: a flying mount for the long hops, kept away from turret camps.

Running the lap

  • Set the party at base before you leave. Swapping mid-lap wastes the whole point of in-party passives.
  • Capture bounty targets you intend to butcher rather than killing them outright, since the Cleaver multiplier only pays on butchering.
  • Carry more spheres than you think you need. Katress reduces the burn rate but does not eliminate it.
  • Bank tokens until you have a shopping list. Buying one implant at a time is how token piles disappear without anything to show.

Common questions

Short answers for searches that should land here, with links to the item, map pin, or related guide when you need more detail.

What does Splatterina's partner skill do in Palworld?
Blade of Uncontrolled Passion increases items obtained from the Meat Cleaver by 100 to 200 percent while Splatterina is in your party. It does not stack, so one Splatterina is all you need, and she does not have to be your active fighter.
Is Yakumo worth a party slot on a bounty farm?
Yes, because it covers two jobs. Birds of a Feather is rideable and raises the chance of encountering Pals that share Yakumo's own passives by 15 to 30 percent, so it is your ground mount and a passive-hunting tool at the same time. Yakumo guide
Do two Splatterinas double the Meat Cleaver bonus?
No. The skill is flagged as non-stacking, so a second copy adds nothing. Spend that slot on a different effect such as Katress drop boosts or a sustain Pal. Partner skill stacking
Does Katress help on every farm route?
Only partly. Her drop bonus applies to Neutral Pals, so she shines on Neutral-heavy zones and does little on elemental routes. The sphere consumption chance helps anywhere you are capturing in volume.
