Palworld Pal Souls for Hard Content: The Statue of Power Endgame Plan

Quick answer

30 Giant Pal Souls, alongside 10 Small, 6 Medium, and 6 Large. Maxing all four tracks on one Pal multiplies that by four, which is why this is a long-term endgame project.

Plus 60 percent on four separate tracks is the biggest single-Pal upgrade in the game. It also costs 30 Giant Pal Souls per track, which is why most players stall halfway.

The Statue of Power has two jobs, and hard content only cares about one of them. Effigies buff the player. Pal Souls buff a single Pal across four tracks: Health, Attack, Defence, and Work Speed. Each track climbs to rank 20 at plus 3 percent per rank, which tops out at plus 60 percent. That is a bigger swing than condenser stars, awakening, and stat fruits combined on most Pals.

Materials

A spirit left behind by a small Pal. It can draw out hidden abilities if offered to a Statue of Power.

Medium Pal Soul

Medium Pal Soul

Materials

A spirit left behind by a Pal. It can draw out hidden abilities if offered to a Statue of Power.

Large Pal Soul

Large Pal Soul

Materials

A spirit left behind by a large Pal. It can draw out hidden abilities if offered to a Statue of Power.

Four soul sizes, one statue

The cost of one maxed track

  • Ranks 1 to 4 spend Small Pal Souls, at 1, 2, 3, then 4.
  • Ranks 5 to 7 spend Medium Pal Souls, at 1, 2, then 3.
  • Ranks 8 to 10 spend Large Pal Souls, at 1, 2, then 3.
  • Ranks 11 to 20 spend Giant Pal Souls, ramping to four consecutive ranks costing 4 each.
  • One maxed track totals 10 Small, 6 Medium, 6 Large, and 30 Giant Pal Souls. Four maxed tracks is that figure times four.

Look at that Giant number again. Thirty Giant Pal Souls for one track on one Pal, and 120 if you want all four. That is the whole reason this system is an endgame project rather than a weekend one, and it is why the correct approach is to pick one Pal and finish it rather than raising four Pals to rank 8.

Giant Pal Souls come from Predators

Predator Pals are the reliable Giant Pal Soul source, and they are kill-only encounters since spheres bounce off them. The same kills pay Predator Cores, which feed Remedies and Elixirs, so a predator route is doing double duty every night. PalSphere plots 29 predator anchors, and several targets are night-only, so build the route around darkness.

Which track first

Track choice should follow the content you are failing at, not a generic tier list. The four tracks do not compete for the same souls at the same time, but they absolutely compete for your Giant supply, so the first track you pick is the one you will be living with for weeks.

  • Attack first if your problem is raid enrage timers or fights dragging past your consumable supply.
  • Health first if your carry keeps dying before the burn window opens. Dead damage is zero damage.
  • Defence when you are surviving the boss but losing to adds and chip damage.
  • Work Speed only on a dedicated base worker, and only after your combat Pal is finished. Note that Work Speed gets the soul multiplier from this path and nothing else, which makes it uniquely dependent on the statue.

How souls stack with everything else

Souls are multiplicative on top of a Pal that is already built, so the order of operations matters. Get the passives right through breeding, level the Pal with Training Manuals, condense for stars and work levels, then start feeding souls, and use stat fruits to close whatever gap remains. Awakening raises the ceiling separately.

The full breed, fruit, condense order in one workflow.

Investment workflow

Buying stat fruits cheaply to top off a soul-fed Pal.

Mistakes that waste Giant Souls

  • Feeding souls to a Pal you have not finished breeding. Fix passives first or you will redo the whole investment.
  • Spreading ranks across four Pals so none of them cross rank 10, which is where Giants start and the gains get real.
  • Butchering or condensing a Pal you already fed. Check the fed roster before you clear out spare stock.
  • Farming Alphas expecting Giant Souls. Alphas pay schematics and captures, Predators pay Giants.

Common questions

How many Giant Pal Souls does one maxed track cost?
30 Giant Pal Souls, alongside 10 Small, 6 Medium, and 6 Large. Maxing all four tracks on one Pal multiplies that by four, which is why this is a long-term endgame project. Statue of Power guide
Where do Giant Pal Souls drop in Palworld?
Predator Pals are the reliable source. They are kill-only since spheres bounce, and the same kills also pay Predator Cores. PalSphere plots 29 predator anchors and several targets are night-only. Predator Cores
How much do Pal Souls actually increase stats?
Each rank is plus 3 percent on its track and each track goes to rank 20, so a maxed track is plus 60 percent. There are four tracks: Health, Attack, Defence, and Work Speed.
Is Work Speed worth spending Pal Souls on?
Only on a dedicated base worker, and only after your combat Pal is done. Work Speed is notable because the statue is the only place it gets a multiplier, unlike combat stats which also benefit from condensing and awakening.
