Bribing the Raiders, How to Use 'The Negotiator' in 1.0

Base raids are now structured multi-wave survival events, and you can pay to skip them.

Raids in 1.0 are no longer random pop-ups, they are structured, multi-wave survival challenges. The new Negotiator NPC gives you a financial escape hatch, but it comes with a trade-off.

The cost of skipping

The Negotiator lets you pay gold to cancel an incoming raid wave. The gold cost scales upward for late-game raids, so bribing your way out of a high-tier assault gets expensive fast.

What you give up

Fighting the waves off can drop unique high-tier items and base structures that you only get by winning. Weigh the escalating bribe cost against those exclusive rewards, sometimes defending is the more profitable play if your base defenses are ready.

Build a defensive roster that makes fighting the better option.
