Why Aren't My Pals Transporting in Palworld?
Haulers look busy and chests still overflow. Transport lost the priority fight, or the station has Allow Transport by Pals turned off.
Transport is rarely broken. It is a low-priority job, easy to turn off per station, and often given to Pals that would rather craft or mine.
Work priority comes first
- Transport (Food) is high priority (near the top of the assign order).
- Transport (Floor / disposable) is much lower.
- General Transport is near the bottom, above only World-Spawn Harvest and Cooling.
- Ranch, Generating, Repair, Kindling, Cooking, Harvest, Planting, Watering, Medicine, Handiwork, and Mining all beat general Transport.
A Pal with Handiwork and Transport crafts first. A Pal with Mining and Transport digs first. If you need hauling, lock Transport or use a Transport-only species.
See the full default assign order chart.
Work task priority guideAllow Transport by Pals
Every crafting and production station has an Allow Transport by Pals setting. It starts off until you enable it. When it is off, finished products stay on the station even if haulers are free. Turn it on for full automation. Leave it off only when you want to move items by hand.
Quick fix checklist
- Enable Allow Transport by Pals on every station that should auto-unload.
- Put at least one high Transport suitability Pal on the base.
- At the Monitoring Stand, disable competing jobs on your haulers.
- Keep filtered chests next to production so pathing stays short.
- Remember food transport is a different, higher-priority job than general Transport.
