Highest Stats by Element in Palworld: Overall Power, HP, Attack, Defence

Quick answer

Overall Power is PalSphere's composite combat score: each Pal's maxed HP, Attack, and Defence are expressed as a percent of the Paldeck maximum at the same investment (Lv80, 4-star, Trust 10, max souls, Awakened), then summed. The cap is 300%. It replaces community Firepower charts that are not backed by game data.

Who is actually the tankiest Fire Pal when everything is maxed? Raw species numbers lie. This chart uses Level 80, 4-star, Trust 10, max souls and Awakened combat stats.

This chart ranks every Paldeck species by element for four combat columns: Overall Power, HP, Attack and Defence. Numbers are the same fully invested combat formula used on each Pal page, not the small species base values from the datatable. Use it when you are deciding who to Awaken, which element slot to fill in a raid party, or whether a hype Pal is actually the stat leader in its typing.

Investment used for every Pal

  • Level 80 (current level cap)
  • 4-star Condensed (Pal Rank)
  • Trust level 10
  • 100 Talent / IVs on HP, Attack and Defence
  • Statue of Power rank 20 on HP, Attack and Defence (max souls)
  • Awakened / Empowered (Awakening Crystal applied)

Why Overall Power instead of Firepower?

There is no Firepower field in Palworld's data tables. Community charts often invent a composite and accidentally let one inflated HP value dominate. Our Overall Power score fixes that: for each Pal we take the maxed HP, Attack and Defence as a percentage of the Paldeck-wide maximum for that stat at the same investment, then sum the three percentages (maximum 300%). A Pal with huge HP but weak Attack cannot outrank a balanced fighter.

  • Overall Power = (HP / max HP) + (Attack / max Attack) + (Defence / max Defence).
  • HP / Attack / Defence columns show the raw maxed combat values within that element.
  • Ties share a cell. Every Pal locked at the top value is listed.
  • Dual-type Pals appear under every element they have.

How to read the live table

Scroll the embedded table below or filter by element chip. Overall Power is the default sort when you want a generalist answer (best Dark Pal overall). Switch to HP when you need a wall, Attack when you are building a glass cannon, or Defence when you expect long boss phases. Dual-type rows appear twice on purpose: a Fire/Dragon Pal shows under both Fire and Dragon so you can compare within each roster slot you are filling.

  • Overall Power: best general combat investment in that element.
  • HP column: tanks and raid anchors that survive burst damage.
  • Attack column: sweepers and boss DPS picks.
  • Defence column: bruisers that hold aggro without melting.

What this chart does not measure

These numbers are species combat stats at full investment. They ignore partner skills, active skill kits, mount speed, work suitability, and type matchup on a specific boss. A Pal ranked third on Attack may still win your fight because it learns a better skill line or covers a weakness your party lacks. Treat the table as a shortlist, then open Pal pages in the PalDex for kits, passives, and breeding paths.

Practical use cases

Raid planning: pick the HP leader in the element your boss hits hardest, then layer passives in the breeding calculator. Awakening budgeting: Awakening Crystals are expensive, so start with Pals that already sit at or near the top of Overall Power for their element. PvP and co-op: Attack leaders differ from HP leaders; co-op often rewards burst while solo tower climbs reward bulk. Element coverage: if your party is weak to Dragon, scan the Dragon tab for Overall Power and HP before you breed a counter.

Stats are fully invested combat readouts: Level 80 · 100 Talent · Trust 10 · 4★ Condensed · Soul statue rank 20 · Awakened (Empowered). Overall Power = (HP ÷ max HP) + (Attack ÷ max Attack) + (Defense ÷ max Defense) at that same investment. Maxed ceilings: HP 24,414 · Attack 3,588 · Defence 3,482. Ties share the cell. Dual-type Pals appear under every element they have.

Common questions

Short answers for searches that should land here, with links to the item, map pin, or related guide when you need more detail.

What is Overall Power in Palworld?
Overall Power is PalSphere's composite combat score: each Pal's maxed HP, Attack, and Defence are expressed as a percent of the Paldeck maximum at the same investment (Lv80, 4-star, Trust 10, max souls, Awakened), then summed. The cap is 300%. It replaces community Firepower charts that are not backed by game data.
Why do dual-type Pals appear twice?
Dual-type species belong to both elements. Listing them under Fire and Dragon (for example) lets you compare candidates for each slot you are filling without guessing which tab they should live on.
Are base datatable stats wrong?
They are not wrong, but they are incomplete. Base values are pre-level, pre-star, pre-soul species numbers. This chart uses the same endgame formula as each Pal's detail page so you compare apples to apples when everything is invested. Open PalDex
Does the highest Attack Pal always deal the most damage?
Not always. Skill multipliers, passives, type advantage, and partner buffs all shift real damage. Use the Attack column to narrow candidates, then read skill lists and test on your target boss. Skill reference
