Palworld Moon Lord Raid Guide: Start, Fight, Rewards

Moon Lord is the Terraria collab raid boss. The Sealed Realm of Terraria owns dungeon prep and Hallowed Bars. This page owns the Summoning Altar loop, the fight, and what you craft after a clear.

How to unlock and summon

• Clear Sealed Realm of Terraria and open the end chests for Celestial Sigil Schematic (guaranteed on that chest table).
• Craft Celestial Sigil from 100 Hallowed Bars at a workbench once the schematic is learned.
• Build a Summoning Altar (Technology level 33). Offer the Celestial Sigil the same way you offer other raid slabs.
• Summon at a dedicated raid base or a throwaway Palbox arena so the wipe does not flatten your main factory.

Recommended power

• Moon Lord has no element tag in live data. Build for raw damage, sustain, and mobility instead of chasing a weakness.
• Bring condensed combat Pals and late weapons. Terraria collab gear (Terra Blade, Vortex Beater, Terraprisma, Nightglow) shines here once schematics are unlocked.
• Raid rules match other slab bosses: you can field a large Pal team. Pre-place walls and turrets if you summon on a base pad.
• Celestial Sigil [master] summons the harder Moon Lord [Master] variant. Craft is not available; that sigil comes from clearing the normal raid.

Fight notes and wipe causes

• Moon Lord fights as a multi-part body (hands and head). Burst windows matter more than standing still and trading.
• Common wipe: summoning on your main base without a funnel. The boss deletes incubators and assembly lines you still need.
• Common wipe: under-leveled party after a fresh schematic unlock. Farm more Hallowed Bars and gear one full set before the first altar offer.
• Common wipe: ignoring True Eye of Cthulhu adds and projectiles while tunnel-visioning the torso.
• Exact phase HP thresholds are not published cleanly in our extracts. Learn the tells once, then repeat the same arena layout.

Rewards and what to craft next

• Item text: Luminite Bar is dropped by Moon Lord and fuels late Terraria crafts.
• Pal drop table for the raid lists Legendary Meowmere as a notable rolled reward (about one in five clears). Treat other loot as variable until your run logs it.
• Celestial Sigil [master] unlocks the Master difficulty rematch for higher stakes.
• Moon Lord Mask and Moon Lord Statue Schematic are collab flex crafts tied to the raid line.
• Legendary Meowmere recipe asks for Hallowed Bars, Paldium Fragments, and Coal once you can craft it. Pair with Hallowed Mask for the sword damage bonus.
