The Surgery Table handles invasive, longer-term adjustments. Disposable Implants instead grant fast, temporary stat boosts, useful right before a hard fight or expedition when you don't need a permanent change.

The sanity trade-off

• Implants grant a defined temporary stat boost on use.
• Using one triggers a sanity cost penalty on the Pal.
• Purge the resulting debuff afterward with rest and recovery structures before it snowballs.
